Sure partner with VR specialists Laduma to give unique view of Ross Barkley’s free-kick technique

The UK’s leading menswear deodorant has teamed up with Laduma, the Virtual Reality content company, to create a unique piece of content giving incredible 360° views of Ross Barkley taking a free kick at Everton’s training ground.

Mobile and desktop viewers are able to watch every angle in 360° as Barkley shows how he deals with the pressure of performing at the highest level, and demonstrates how to take the perfect free-kick at Everton’s training ground. Those with VR headsets will enjoy the most immersive viewing experience.

Laduma CEO, Ben Smith commented:

‘We are a company built on creating ground-breaking VR content and this project was interesting to us because it was a genuine industry first. To team up with a Premier League star and a well-respected global brand to create a piece of VR that gives fans unique and privileged access to one of their heroes was a huge challenge. Anyone who watches will get a glimpse of what it’s like to stand in the shoes of a Premier League footballer. Ross took a keen interest in the technology and the end result. He was fantastic to work with.’

Sure Brand Manager Claudio Bellen added,

“We were delighted to partner with Laduma on this unique piece of content showcasing Ross’s free-kick technique from previous unseen angles. We hope football fans will enjoy this short edit of one of England’s young talents showcasing his skill level.”
